Topic: Prints shifting to the left Davinci 1.0

I am using a Davinci 1.0 running Repatier. It used to print no problems and then it started shifting layers to the left. Now I can't print anything at all. Every time I start a print the first layer is fine then the next layers consistently shift to the left. Please help any suggestions will be appreciated.

I had the same problem.  The cable that goes to the X stepper was shorted out from all of the pinching it gets from being routed the way it is.  I was still under warranty and got a new cable.  Routed it differently and haven't have a problem since.  Hope that helps.

You can't buy one. You either repair the existing one or you make a new one. XYZ sells very few parts. They expected their customers to send the machines back for repairs and not be willing to do the repairs.

In very rare cases they have shipped new cable but it requires you to give them certain information that you no longer have since you flashed to Repetier which voids your warranty. If you could talk them into one it would still take a month to get it.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
