Topic: Upgraded to repetier, all was well....

So i upgraded my 1.0a to repetier yesterday finally and all was going very well.  Unfortunately now i cannot communicate with the printer.  I can manipulate the printer with the lcd screen, and i can "connect" in rep host, but its not actually connected, no communication.  My baud rates match, and it was working.  Now no go, i have reset the printer, the computer, moved the plug to dif ports, sometimes it will eventually start working again after dicking around like this for a while.  But next time i start my computer up its the same old story. 

I have tried all sorts of "fixes" i have googled and nothing has worked.  Any suggestions?  Should i just reflash it?  and if so whats the safe way to do that?

well sounds a little familiar. I have an Sd4 marlin firmware i run with RH. It seems like i need to have the printer connected to the computer then open rh . I feel the frustration .
