Re: Wire size to clean the nozzle

go buy the thinnest guitar gauge you can find and use the high E string. the best way to clean a clogged nozzle that isn't on an e3d is to remove it and let it soak in some acetone. then poke in and clean the nozzle from the larger open end. poke the wire through from the large open end and through the output orifice. when you can see through the nozzle, it is clean (go outside and look through it)

sticking a wire through from the output side of the nozzle will only clean it for a short while, as the debris that's blocking the orifice will eventually find its way back to the output side of the nozzle. dealt with that for a while on my stock Solidoodle hotend.
