Topic: Error 33? Z axis won't stop

Just started happening. After the job is received the print bed starts moving up, but will go until it's rammed into the top, and then I get my error.

Haven't a clue where to begin.

Your Z sensor the white plastic assembly at the back of the printer above the bed is either not positioned correctly, wires are disconnected or on backwards or the sensor in the assembly is bad. To test the sensor you could swap it for the X sensor in the housing on the right side of the carriage  or the door sensor in the upper back right portion of the lid channel. Otherwise make sure the wires are secure and plugged in the same as the other sensors.

What can you do if the sensor itself is bad?

There are several here that are parting out their Da Vinci's. Ask around as someone may have some sensors available. You could try XYZ but lots of luck, Seems they where planning to have everyone ship the entire printer back for repairs and never anticipated people willing to do their own repairs thus making parts available.
