Topic: cant find right support settings

Hi

i have a little question, when i want to use support material in slic3r, hes printing and some overhanging material, normally he don't see that after the slicing but now as well. where can i set this to 0/zero so he don't print the behind the hole in this case

Re: cant find right support settings

I see no reason for support on that print so just un-click "generate support material"

Re: cant find right support settings

Okey not for this print, thats correct.
but it doesn't matter what kind of print, i want to know where i can find this setting.
so that he print support material without overlay it, he can print on the model self thats correct, but not outside of the model

Re: cant find right support settings

Support is always on the outside of the model.
Infill is on the inside of the model.
The main difference is support should easily peel away from the model when done.
You can decrease the extrusion width of support to help with removal.
post an example .stl and I will show you (screenshot) some options.
Language barrier isn't helping but pictures work well.

Re: cant find right support settings

Looks like a structural part so very easy to slice as a solid (100%) infill.
