Topic: Makerware beta 3.7 issues, not opening

Hello,
I have a CTC 3D.
I am not sure what is going on, but ive been using Makerware and i got prompted to update to the latest. I did and the software would not recognize my custome profiles, then it stopped letting me open the settings or exporting to sd.
I was able to get back to my original version and it started working again and in was able to print.
Malwarebytes ran a routine check and found a couple of files, so i quarantined them. After this my computer was restarted and makerware would no longer open. I click the icon and nothing. I already tried to delete the conveiord.pid file, but when i look for it its not in there.
I have tried to reinstall it a bunch of times, even went back to previous restore points and nothing. I have no idea how to fix this.

Those files you quarantined where false positives and necessary for the program to run. You need to remove them from quarantine. Most likely the update is so new the checksums for those files just have not been submitted yet. Now that you have given Malwarebytes permission to quarantine those types of files it will do it without asking you now. So anytime you reinstall those files will be found and removed. You need to unquarantine them and add that programs directy to your white list so Malwarebytes will ignore that program and its directories.
