Topic: X-Axis Stepper skipping

The printer is a Davinci 1.0A with Repetier .92 firmware loaded. Printer started to do this today. What can it be? And please dont say bad stepper drive.....

Its the wire harness for that motor on the right side. Notice the skip is at the exact same point of flex in the wire. This is common with this printer due to poor quality wire in flexing locations. All you can do is try to warranty it, or repair it yourself by figuring which of the 1 of 4 wires it is and splicing the break.
