Topic: Build Platform *thumps* and descends mid-print

Sometimes during the first layer of a print, my Press makes a loud *thump* sound, and the build plate drops down slightly, leaving the extruder to "pour" plastic onto the build plate, which forces me to kill the print and try again. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Frustration is part of the process.

Your bed may be too high or is not perfectly leveled.
In the first case try changing the Z axis, in the second one i don't know, as far as i read you can't manually level your bed in the press.
