Topic: Maximum temperature on Da Vinci Duo

Hello

Anyone has experimented with maximum temperature? Is it safe to run heaters at 260 ? I have Da Vinci Duo with one fan in carriage. I ran some tests with 250 which is in theory officially supported temperature since EEPROM can have this value, at least someone reported it as a valid value. Tests went OK. Is it safe to go higher?

What material are you using that requires more than 250? If you need to go that high then you have an issue with reported temps not being actual temps. You will need a contact thermometer to verify this as IR none touch is not suffecient.

I have read that anything over 235 can damage the Da Vinci stock head. But again there is a mess of facts and guesses out there about this machine.

Regardless on the stock head you should not need to go over 250 for any material I can think off. Even bridge and PC only need 245.

There are some that need 260, for example for Up! and Zortrax. Nothing wrong with read out, just modding wink

In case 260 would work, probably I would have to increase temperature for load/unload as well
