Topic: Does anyone have a working da Vinci junior

I'm just looking for some comfort from anyone who has a daVinci junior that still prints OK after say two days of printing... Does anyone?

If so, any chance you could post a picture of your hot end, just to see if it looks like mine please.

Re: Does anyone have a working da Vinci junior

There was a person on here in one of the Jr. threads claiming he has had no issue with his and printed perfect out of the box. You might want to read through the threads although based on what I have read here it seems he is the only one that has one that works.

That is what is worrying me. The one they have at TWIT seems to work and there most be some others that do but maybe we in the UK, apart from the one guy, have a bad batch or something. It will be interesting to see what the supplier has to say when then get to work on the message I have sent them.

Re: Does anyone have a working da Vinci junior

This doesn't surprise me at all when you consider the number of issues people had with the 1.0 when it first came out.
I had to replace 3 of the bearing mounts on my 1.0 within the first few weeks.
I would doubt it's just a problem in the UK.

Problem solved... It's going back tomorrow and I have ordered a different make and model. £300 more but the cheap little printer did the trick of exciting the family enough to allow me to splash out on a better printer.

Good plan! The more people in the family are interested the easier it is to invest big_smile
