Topic: How to add the Hysteresis Fix?

I searched for Hysteresis Fix in the forums and found a thread on it but it is 2 years old. I tried to follow it but I don't understand how to even do step 2. "Add some cases to the switch statement in process_commands in Marlin.pde. Search for "case 115: // M115" and insert the following lines before that line..."
Looked further into it and I can't even find planner.cpp

The link is here: http://www.soliforum.com/topic/313/hysteresis-fix/

I think my firmware is up to date, its called Marlin V1. I tried manually sending the M98 command but nothing comes back.

Can anyone help me figure out how to implement the hysteresis fix?

Re: How to add the Hysteresis Fix?

You'll need this firmware https://github.com/ozadr1an/Solidoodle- … in_v1_beta
Then just enable it in configuration.h
Change values as needed and that's it.

Re: How to add the Hysteresis Fix?

I just double checked and I do have the Marlin V1 beta firmware flashed.

How do I enable it in configuration.h? The only hysteresis I see mentioned is for the bed temperature.

Re: How to add the Hysteresis Fix?

But is it that exact one?  There are two that show up as v1 beta.
Either way I won't be near a computer until the AM then I can post up screen shots.

Re: How to add the Hysteresis Fix?

Okay I got it working now. That was way easier than I expected. Thanks!
