Topic: Sinterhard metal filament and the DaVinci
If you have not seen this on Kickstarter - an ABS / PLA with metal powder filament.
The filaments include powdered stainless steel (316) or aluminium at this time.
The part required is 3D printed, the binder (ABS or PLA) is dissolved and the resulting part is placed in a furnace to bind the metal particles.
The interesting thing for DaVinci owners is that the company uses a number of DaVinci printers to test their filaments.
