Topic: STL files download as text

I have tried to download some stl files from a few websites and they download as text and if i click save as it still comes out as text
or .json any ideas on how to fix this?

Ultimaker S3.

It's an ASCII stl file. Just save it with a .stl extension. STLs also come in binary format which is not human-readable.
