Topic: filament question

a friend gave me new abs spools. what do I need to do to use 3rd party spools? Can someone point me to the right direction? I just bought but didnt come with filament.

You don't really need to do anything, just load the spool and print.
Although the filament counter will now be wrong of course and you'll need to reset it if it gets too low.
