Hello people!

We are INDMATEC GmbH, a German company carrying out different activities in the field of FDM 3D printing:

  • Production of high performance filaments.

  • Materials testing.

  • Consulting and training on FDM 3D printing for industrial and private use.

  • Upgrades to FDM 3D printers.

  • Research on the interrelated topics, mainly filament materials.

INDMATEC GmbH is the only company in Germany capable of producing FDM 3D printing PEEK filaments, and the only company in the world able to 3D print with these filaments. Please find a picture attached with more info about our product.

We hope to be an asset to soliforum.com by providing expert input in the field of FDM 3D printing, and we're looking forward to interesting conversations.

PEEK huh? I've seen this offered on e3d-online and I was not under the impression anyone was really having any luck, or really even trying due to the strong suggestion of ventilation.  Care to share some prints in your PEEK filament? Could you also elaborate on some settings you use with it, such as temperatures and retraction? I am very interested in printing PEEK because as e3d says, it's an all around polymer badass. What safety precautions would I need to take against fumes?

The only material that intrigues me more is Ultem, but unless I meet someone with a Fortus I don't think I'll have much luck acquiring that wink

Hello jagowilson! Thanks for the reply. Here, a picture and a video of a PEEK print we did smile. Unfortunately I cannot post links, so please add this to your YouTube URL: watch?v=ZaFYimxFPmM.

Hotend temperature is usually between 360ºC and 380ºC, depending on the printer. For further information about settings, we'll be glad to help you through a private conversation. Consulting and upgrading of 3D printers to make them work with high performance polymeres is one of our services, besides filament production and distribution.
