Topic: Slic3r Supports?

Done quite a few prints with slic3r with supports and works fine. I have now come to use the supports due to printing a new carriage for when I get my new extruder and the support was very very hard to get off I have included pictures of the supports and a screenshot of what my settings are....

Thanks

If you print it opposite side down you don't need any support. That's how I printed mine.

Change support type to rectilinear (instead of rectilinear grid) it makes it loads easier to remove lol.

Re: Slic3r Supports?

Also consider post finishing. I actually sand and seal prints that are not for me or machine parts. I will sand them then use a sealer or vapor treatment and then paint them. I only use natural filament so if I or my customer would want color then it would be processed and painted.

If you ever sell printed items you will need to consider post

Oh okay will try that Browning and Yeah I always sand them so you can just see the finish from the layers then brush on acetone and leave to vapor off works quite well saves having to boil the acetone which I don't like the idea of
