Solidworks is a pretty expensive program as I recall... a couple grand a copy. You can download Creo Elements for free and there are tons of tutorials on YouTube.

The learning curve on any CAD program is fairly steep, but this one I found to be more intuitive than about a dozen others I tried -- at any price. It'll save models as STL files, which is all you need for 3D printing.
