Topic: Major Filament Score !

AS I mentioned in another post My Local Radio Shack was selling everything off including 3D Filament rolls.  About a month ago I bought a bunch of filament for $15 or 16 a roll, and I left my business card with them to call me when they only have a few rolls left they want to get rid of at a good price.

Today I got a call telling me they only had a few rolls and asked me if I wanted them for $4-5 a roll.  Seriously ??!!

Needless to say, I made it there in record time.  I ended up with 10 rolls of Afinia ABS @ $5 each, and another 4 rolls of Radio Shack branded filament for $4 a roll.  The Afinia rolls are only 700gr., but then again it's also supposed to be premium stuff.

Anyway, I now have a closet full of filament, and unless I want some special color or something, I'm set for quite a while. smile

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.

how many colors did they have?

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

radio shack in the St Louis area became more of a cel phone shack couple years b4 closing. ditched all electronics parts and never got 3D printing stuff

A while back they had quiote a few colors in the Afinia brand, but only red, blue, white and black in the Radio Shack brand.

The other day, I bought all they had left, which were white and blue of the Radio shack, red, blue, white and yellow of the Afinia.

I would like to have got a roll of White ABS 1.75mm. wish local ones here had some
I got a roll of White PLA 1.75mm only used about 10 inches of. likely wont use PLA any more with my SD2 ABS does better with it
