Topic: Pololu AVR Progammer

I am trying to reflash the firmware on my press, so I purchased this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pololu-POL1300- … 84-21/url]

The programmer comes with a 6 pin plug and the jumper on the board only has 2 pins, please could someone let me know how this works?  Do i need to purchase an additional cable/adapter to make it work/fit?

Many Thanks

Re: Pololu AVR Progammer

the two pins next to the usb port is for the jumper, basically short those two together when you plug the usb cord in. the connector goes like thishttp://s39.photobucket.com/user/zerrb/media/20150305_211444_zpsp6odscs1.jpg.html but flip it so the ribbon cable goes to the right.

Re: Pololu AVR Progammer

I used Arduino on mine. Worked like a charm.

Take a look at the picture in this thread: http://www.soliforum.com/topic/11338/ca … hat-i-try/

BUT the connector on the motherboard needs to be turned around 180 degrees from how it is in that picture!!!

THanks, did you get it working using Arduino software on the Mac, I found the jumper but couldn't get it to work, tried flip and arduino.
