Topic: MK2B Bed/Thermistor Question

Hi All

Please help, I have switched the board on my Press to MK2B and wired in a new thermistor, the board seems to get hot just fine but for some reason the temperature is showing 100 degrees +/- a few degrees before even heating the bed, I have checked the thermistor wiring, and all is insulated and seems in place, the thermistor reads 105ohms with the meter so should be the correct one.

Please can someone offer some guidance?

Many Thanks

You might need to flash your board with a fixed firmware, now what firmware changes to be made I have no idea

If it is a standard 100K thermistor then it should read 100K at or near room not 105. If it is reading 105 it is shorted.
