Topic: Simplify 3D missing feature or just me misiing it?

I got S3D and am giving it a try. So far I have to admit I am impressed as it has printed things that my other slicers and host have failed on. But I am a bit dissatisfied as I can't not seem to find a rotate option. I have a case for an LCD I want to print but when placed in the slicer it places it with the hollow side down meaning I need to waste filament and make supports.

My other slicers allowed me to rotate it 180 on the x or y to put the hollow side up and the face down also giving the face a nice shiny finish if I print it on Kapton.

So am I just missing this option or does this 150 dollar piece of software not have one of the most elementary features?

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Have you tried ctrl+alt+arrow keys yet? wink

SD3 w/ RUMBA (8825s), merlin hot end (in pieces). Ender3 w/ silent board for PLA printing. Ender5 w/ silent board, e3d v6, new z lead screw, and glass bed. DiY Kossel w/ smoothieboard (in pieces). Vellman Vertex (in pieces)
Shapeoko2 router in process of being converted to laser engraver (in pieces)
Multicam 5000 series CNC Router w/ 11HP spindle, 5x10' table, and auto tool changer (in pieces)

You can also double click the model - either in the list or the 3d preview - and enter numeric rotate/scale/translate figures.

My reply was a joke, by the way. If you have nvidia graphics drivers installed, ctrl-alt-arrow keys flips your screen around tongue

Double click on the model to rotate/scale/etc.

Actually, that's not too far away from another method.
You can rotate the object with the mouse by holding down alt and the right mouse key.
