Topic: Teensy USB serial driver failing to install

Trying to connect a Solidoodle Workbench, have a fresh install of Windows 7.

Installed the usb_serial.exe (ran as administrator) found here: http://support.solidoodle.com/hc/en-us/ … ng-Drivers

Connected the workbench (already powered on), which successfully prompts the automatic driver install.
Driver install fails:

   Teensy USB Serial (COM3)          X Failed

Uninstalled and deleted software, reinstalled through same process, get same problem.

Had it successfully working on my old windows install this morning, so I'm very confident that the printer and firmware are fine. Been fighting with the new windows install all day, so I may have overlooked something obvious.

first time suggest you off line print

Found solution in case anyone else runs into similar issue - as I said, the windows install was fresh. Fresh enough that I hadn't yet reached service pack 1 in my updates. A few update cycles later yesterday morning and I hit service pack 1, which seems to have made everything better.
