Topic: Da Vinci with repetier reading file issue

I have been printing most of the night for a job I want to do for a stand to go in my house.

When I have come to print the last two files the printer seems to freeze up when I select them to print and don't know what's up because they have been sliced with the exact same settings as the others

Anyone one know why??

How big is the file? Have you tried running it through a repair service like netfabb. Sometimes a file could have one or more triangles not touching and that can make some software flake out. The issue may not be a visible issue and might not make a difference to you but to the software it could make a difference of print or not.

It's a small file one is 10 min print one is 20 mins

Ran them through netfabb and still just locks up its all slices fine and generates the g code okay

Does it show in the preview as it should? Are you sure the gcode is not calling a temperature different from your preset?

I will check later but I have sliced it the exact same way to the rest if the file and they printed fine

Are you preheating the bed and extruder? If so are they both set for the same temp in your host and the slicer? Could it be thay it is just heating and not really stalled?

No pre heat. I select which one I want to print then locks on the menu of the files on the SD card and cannot do anything

So when you send it to print, it heats up the bed and then heats up the extruder and then does nothing? It does it not even heat?

Doesn't even heat I will send a picture of the screen when it freezes will help me explain it better it just seems to lock my printer up

That's what it crashes on I will upload the STL files to see if anyone can get them to work or see what I am doing wrong
