Topic: Troubleshooting mode

Ok so my guide wont move. The maker of the winder sent me a new Nano board but i cant get my computer to reconize it so using old one. Any way this is what im seeing.

Thats the same line over and over with no change. Is the hall sensor bad?

It's possible that the magnet is backwards so the wrong pole is facing the sensor.  You should see the Hall change to 1 if you slowly move the magnet past it.  Try flipping the magnet over if you can get it out of the gear, or use another magnet that you might have around.  Keep it within 1 cm of the hall and try both poles and see if there is a response.

No its not the maganet just tried it. Thing is it did work before then it just stopped

There is a new board in the mail.  It's odd for something like the hall sensor to quit working, usually it does or doesn't from the start.

Hi i got the new board installed and still guide did nothing. The problem with the new board my computer wont recognize the drivers. The old board computer finds it but not the new board.

I'm sending the control board, rather than the Arduino since it seems like the problem is with the hall sensor.  Usually when something starts acting weird I can expect it to be a problem with the Arduino since that is the complicated part.  The control board is mostly just connectors and and some simple components.
