Topic: Workbench question

I think I know the answer but want to make sure. I have the workbench an works great with pla an I use smiplify3d I want to try abs now an noticed I wait for extruder to get hot over 215 never dose. On back of power supply there is a red switch 12v or 24v do I just flip switch an I'm good to go???????

NO.....Dont do that, you will fry your motherboard if it can't handle the 24V.  Make sure your parts are rated for 24V before you switch anything.

On solidoodle I print ABS at 205 for first layer and 195-200 for the rest of the layers. The temperature reported is not the exact temperature the filament is at.

The extruder should be able to reach 215 without a problem. If it is unable to reach 215 you may need to run a PID autotune by running M303 S215.

The switch on the power supply is for the input voltage (120/240), not the output.
