Topic: Ending G-Code Won't Work, Please Help

Hi every time after a print, my Da Vinci won't turn off the bed and extruder and it just stays there until I turn it off, the extruder also does nothing and just sits there, here is my ending G-Code

Using Simplify3D

G91 ; set relative positioning
G1 E-1 F300 ; retract the filament a bit before lifting the nozzle
G1 Z10 ; lifts the nozzle off of the print
M104 S0 ; extruder heater off
M140 S0 ; hot bed off
M106 S0 ; extruder fan off
G28 X Y ; homes x and y axis to access print bed
M84 ; disable motors

Thanks

The Z move should be Z-10 to move away from the bed.

As for the other commands unless you have flashed to Repetier I am not sure if G1 works. There was an issue with the stock firmware where it does not under stand either G0 or G1 I can't remember which way it went but you had to manually change one to the other in all your g-code to get them to print.  One is fast move which this stock firmware cannot do while the other starts slow and ramps to speed which is what the stock firmware prefers.

Just try changing the G1 to G0 and see what it does. It won't make it worse I can assure you.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Its G1 , I'm pretty sure G0 is the rapid movements and in simplify3d for me, -10 moves the bed up and 10 moves it down. Right now i'm trying to see if removing G1 E-1 F300 will work. Thanks tho

Pretty sure you dont want the fan to turn off after a print. The extruder still needs to cool when the print has finished. unless you want to burn and clog the hot end.
