Topic: Help, my LCD screen shows only 2 lines of blocks!

After printing perfectly for a couple of month, my seemsLCD 2004 dead suddenly, showing only 2 lines of blocks, as you can see in the picture.
It is not contrast issue, because as you adjust it, 4 lines with change together.
Anybody, please help. Thank you in advance.

Check for loose wire/connection would be my 1st thing to look for.

Connection is fine, but it's hard to see if something wrong with the wire.

That is usually and indication the firmware did not load if all wires look normal.  The solid lines is the dumb mode of the LCD meaning it has power but no data. You may need to reflash or you could have a power supply isdues as well.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

I re-uploaded the firmware, and it worked again! It's so weird, why could that happen? I did not leave any file out but the LCD did not work.

might have been a short on the EEPROM check to see if there are any loose cables/wires to prevent it from happening again
