Topic: Cant get xyz to add raft to this piece

I want to use a raft for part shown below and everytime I slice through xyz there is no raft or purge lines?

I have tried it numerous times with different infills etc but wont cant get it to add raft, I can a raft to other files no problem.

How wide is that part? If its dimension plus the raft exceeds 180mm it will not add a raft as 180mm is maximum printable dimension in XYZware.

Rafts? What are rafts? People still use them? Jk.

Are you enabling raft? I just tried it, and, it does work.

Piece is only about 60mm square

I would help you but since I don't own a copy of xyzware it would be hard. I did away with junk the second day I owned the machine. You should really flash and move to Rep host or even S3D. It makes your life with this machine much better and opens the door to other materials.

Yes I do agree I probably should I am just so happy with the simplicity of the stock firmware I am reluctant to spend a week of nights trying to get the machine working again after I struggle with learning the "new Way" of doing things !

I have no experience of rep host, cura, slicer etc, and I just know, I will probably say to myself half way through,  I wish I had left it alone !!

will have to look at some more youtube videos to get familular.
