Topic: WTF have I gotten myself into....
Been trolling these forums for a couple of weeks and used some of the information to correct issues I was having, thanks very much for that ya'll. Seems in the past 3 weeks since I've had my DaVinci Duo I've encountered every problem possible and fixed them for the most part except for my current issue.
It seems to me it would be a sensor error with the X axis as when I set it to calibrate or it cleans the nozzles it tries to pull the carriage over to the right instead of going to the left and makes a god awful noise as it does it. The odd part is that it knows where the carriage is when it comes to starting a print which then creates another problem.
Few minutes into a print it will step out to the left and try to complete the rest of the print like that.
UPDATE: Just tried to get it to print after removing the side cover, now it stepped way off to the right and started doing all kinds of weird lines. It has however, stopped trying to go right while cleaning the nozzles....
Anyone else with a Duo encounter problems like this ???

Modifications I've done
- Replaced the thumb screws on the bed for adjustment with the longer wing nuts printed from Thingiverse.
- Clipped the connectors off of the wires leading to the heaters and directly wired them
Those two little things right there saved me a world of headache and now I have no problems with the extruders heating up and I can level the bed usually in 2 passes now that I've remember the relation between the adjustment points and numbers on the screen.
