Topic: Bionic Commando Polycraft

Here is one of my latest, an Imperial Polycraft from the Bionic Commando game.

I'm not sure who the model creator was, but I found it on one of the 3D model sites.  I originally tried printing it whole, with support, but the amount of support was simply huge, and removing it cleanly proved to be a pain, so I kinda scrapped it.

So I decided the best way to print this is in parts.  I used NetFabb to separate all the parts, then sliced some of them into left and right halves, so I can print them flat and get around the need for support.

Here is the assembled model.  While I did print the rocket pods, I haven't attached them.  I kinda like the model as it is, without those pods open and sticking out like street lamps.  Also, the Gatling gun has such thin barrels, it might need some additional work and a reprint.

Note:  If you want to see the detail, you'll have to download the image, as it's pretty large (3000x2000 pixels).
