Topic: Printing Raptor hand and finger not printing correctly

is anyone printing hands for E-nable?
I am printing a raptor hand and having trouble with the finger tip with nail.
I am going to try and print at 50% speed and with support.

Re: Printing Raptor hand and finger not printing correctly

1) I did print gauntlet and palm  for the raptor reloaded hand.
2) great group had the privilege of going to there symposium in Baltimore MD last fall.
Met with the founders so to speak  Jen an Ivan Owen , John Schull great speakers etc.
3) from what i see the finger is a bit of a challenge with a heavy overhang.
4) They now have a new Online forum for such discussions.
http://forums.enablingthefuture.org/index.php
4a the forum is new so not a lot of people there yet.
4b Looks kike porn spammers found the place so beware of posts that list body parts normally covered by clothing.
5) Great thing to use the 3d printer for, let us know how you make out.

Re: Printing Raptor hand and finger not printing correctly

It's pretty incredible the overhangs and detail you can achieve with appropriate speeds and a properly directed cooling fan.

Re: Printing Raptor hand and finger not printing correctly

I have joined the group and am trying to print a qualification hand.
with my replicator 2x i can print ABS with 1 nozzle and dis-solvable
support with the other.
