Topic: strange first couple layer issues

I'm having some strange issues on the infill on the first couple layers and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Attached is a picture. The best way I can describe it is that the solid infill on the first layer gets spaced unevenly. it seems to print a line too close to the one before it and then the next is too far away. this creates weird ridges that are too tall and then I think the nozzle drags on the second layer creating the rough patch. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I already have my fan flipped the right way and have adjusted the trimpots

Re: strange first couple layer issues

What layer heights are you using?

If you're not using SoliPrint, try a test print in SoliPrint to ensure there aren't any extra settings being applied that affect the height.

If it's been a while, try running the z-index calibration to ensure everything is optimal.

Re: strange first couple layer issues

I'm using .2mm. I don't think the layer height is the issue though. the problem is every other line gets printer almost on top of the previous one.

how do you run z-index calibration?

Those are some very loose belts or pulleys or wobble in your extruder.
