Topic: Bed Z moving doesn't stop

Hi, This is first time , I ask question here.

My company just bought da Vinci 1.0 3D Printer and I use it for a couple weeks.

Now I have a problem on it. That is the bed doesn't stop when it try to go z home location. It doesn't stop until hit to Z sensor and a bar.

At first I thought It because Zsensor not detect.  Then I tried to switch the Zsensor from other sensor. The result was the same.

Yea that is not good. Check the back of your motherboard to make sure the sensor is plugged in. also try to trigger the sensor with a thick piece of paper to see if the sensor works. If it doesnt work it could be aligned wrong or the wire could have a short.

You see the square indent in the back side of the bed frame? the sensor should 'straddle' that. Right now your sensor is 90 degrees out of alignment and slid over about 6cm. I don't if you did that or the manufacturer, but that needs to get fixed. The sensor is an optical so when the indent goes between the two legs of the sensor it breaks a laser beam like your garage door safety switch.

He has one of the newer models. Instead of the back edge of the bed going between the sensor it now has a flag that runs in a back to front orientation. You can see it (white edge) going between the sensor. I am going to go with the usual suspect that several have found and that is the yellow harness is plugged into the sensor upside down. Although it is keyed, due to the cheap plastic the connectors are made of the connector can be plugged in wrong.
