Topic: Press-First print misperfections

Hello Gents, Ladies;
I have received my Press couple months ago, however i have not gotten any good result yet. First problems were; the first layer sticky problem, thickness problem etc... I read some articles , and forums, then i solved these problems by using PCB board. Fortunately, I had my first print!
I have had some problems on my first prints, which seen on the pictures;
1-Wave, riffle effect on the wall the cube
2-Corner should have sharp corner, but ONLY one corner has chamfer (blue line on the picture)

I am a newbee for 3d printing, so i would like to hear some ideas if anyone has as solution for these problems.

Note; The wall thickness, the height of the cube, and size of the square is not precise.  Also edge length is different than each other. I am still trying to learn about calibration process. I designed the cube model at SolidWorks for test purposes. It should be 20x20x20mm, and wall thickness is 2mm.

I appreciate for any reply!

Re: Press-First print misperfections

The wave affect is called moire, you need to check your trimpot settings, the one for the extruder should be 1.5v as a starting point and the others 1.0v.

Start with that to fix your moire problem.

Thank you @Robny!
It seems like i will need to make couple more research to have the first reasonable print!

Re: Press-First print misperfections

Hello 3D printing Community,
It seems like Rob's advice fixed the moire effect, however 3rd problem remains;
-Now, three corners have chamfer. Only one corner can be considered as normal (even this corner has slight chamfer at the middle of the height!)
Please let me know if you have any idea.
