Topic: XYZ program not connecting to printer

I've printed hundreds of hours worth of jobs from my set up, never had a problem before. I disconnected my laptop to use it elsewhere and now once I've reconnected it and updated everything the XYZware program cannot connect to my printer. It knows its there, but just will not connect to it. I cannot print anything. Help?

Edit: the program knows exactly how much filament I have left in the cartridge yet just will not connect to the printer to print the job.

I am about to put an axe thru this printer. I have spent the last 3 hours trying to get this thing to print this job. No, I'm not exaggerating. 3 hours. I have tried everything.
the XYZware program can tell me exactly how much filament is left in the cartridge in the printer, and what the firmware is (which is up to date, by the way), yet just will not connect to print this job. I NEED this job finished. I needed it finished yesterday. I am being paid for this job to be finished.

HELP ME! before I destroy this printer.
there is literally no reason why its not printing. It knows the stats of the printer, so it knows its there, it knows its connected via usb. it just will not accept that its there and send the print job.

A bit of a long shot, but have you tried xyz support? I don't know if they'd have any insight, but it sounds like you're in dire straits... Sorry, if I had any idea what might be wrong I'd offer it to you.

Make sure your com port hasn't changed. Under device manager in ports. It should be the same com port as what you had used previously.
