Topic: SLA?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of any SLA printers with a somewhat decent print size for around $500? And I mean something I could buy right now. Thank you for any answers.

Dream on !! Do we need to locate some hens teeth for you as well !!
With many of the sla patents expiring there may be some new offerings in the next couple of years there was a report of a guy building a projector based one for under $50 with scrounged and borrowed parts. Right now a jewelry sized sla printer will run about $1500. Think you need to stick with filament printer shopping list for now. Or dream and save your money until your budget and the price of what is available sla units match. You may want to keep your eye on the roll out of the new carbon 3d. It is interesting shows promise but have not seen any price projections. Better but IMHO likely not cheaper than what is out there. SLA prices have dropped a lot but still not hit the economy consumer market.

SLA Resin is not cheap either. The Resin costs around $100-$150 for a 1 liter bottle.
I was afraid that was the case. I will say that SLA and FDM has their ups and downs. SLA will probably never have a bunch of different materials. This is true for CLIP as well, though I will say the CLIP is very interesting.

You might want to check out Makerjuice.com. Nowhere near that much.
There is a few at that price range,
I don't have the name on the top of my head. But a simple search on kickstater will tell you.
The trade off is that the print side is very small but a 300 it nice.
I'm in the process of buying a muve1 it is about
900 kit, or 1400 assembled, more the dlp projector.
300. On ebay.
The peachy printer look promising too. But not available now.
also files and converters for SLA files are very hard to come by. Ibox nano was closest to your mark but very small build volume and they could not give me reply how to make files to print so I passed
Here is a crude home/lab built one.

Just came soooooo close to clicking on this one! However, I think I'll wait a bit. The 8"x8"x8" build area is something I want to be able to stick with as a minimum. SLA is still in it's infancy. I love the look of the LittleRP, and would buy it in a heartbeat. But I want bigger builds so will give it a bit more time. I'm still new to all this, so my Press will keep me going for now.

yep same for me.. thats why i didn't buy any SLA for the moment... the price is too high if you want a bigger buildzone..
a 8x8x8 sla printer are around 5000$...
SLA price is too high. If you afford that type of printer then go and check first its cost.
Also do some research on all the post processing you have to do to SLA prints. Looks like a hassle to me.
