on my Makerbot 2X the print will not stick to the bed. I have leveled the bed and double checked 2 times so I thought I would check the bed temp.
it is set at 110°c
so I bought the below meter.
using a piece of kapton to hold the t/c to the Kapton on the bed.
here are my readings
build chamber 32°c
bed center 87°c
back left 82°c
back right 83°c
front left 82°c
front right 84°c
you can not PID tune a Makerbot so I am waiting on tech support.
Set you bed temp for 138C and check again. Probably just have to use a higher value even though its just an inflated number, to get 110C on the bed. I use 110C on blue painters tape and works like a dream!

For my SD2, if I set the bed temperature over 105C, the head associated with the head will trigger the 'heat alert' and the machine will shutdown.
