What are you attempting to accomplish?

Re: Need undrilled 3D printer nozzles

Trying to print layers of different sizes. bigger and smaller than 0.4mm.

http://www.filastruder.com/collections/ … -nozzle-v6

Everything from 0.25mm to 0.8mm.

You should not drill your own. It will be nearly impossible for you to get the right internal geometry.

Thanks Tim, I saw this on your website. I am planning to get a few of these.

At this point i dont have to worry about getting the tapered internal hole right. I can just do it in steps.

I just want a solid nozzle where I can drill holes, like you have for filastruder. Do you know where I can find one ?

But that's my point - you do have to worry. If the internal hole is too long, even by a few hundred microns, the hotend will jam.

Re: Need undrilled 3D printer nozzles

I understand your point. What i meant was, I am just going to print straight lines with different thickness.
I dont think the hotend will jam for one line.

Re: Need undrilled 3D printer nozzles

I actually have a fair amount of experience with this, as the E3Dv5 nozzles had a batch with poor quality control on nozzle bore length (that was before it was understood how important internal nozzle geometry is). The ones that were out of spec had serious jamming issues, especially with PLA.

Anyway to answer your question, no I do not know where you can find underlined nozzles. I doubt it would be worth one's time anyway, since in undrilled form they would only be a couple dollars cheaper. What's your time worth?
