Topic: Does anyone have a spare X axis stepper cable I can buy?

I have a short in my X axis cable.  I can make the stepper skip steps just by pressing on it while it is running.  I put a ticket in with XYZ but I am assuming I won't hear anything back, they will want $60 for $5 cable, or take forever to return any response.  Let me know.  Thanks

You can buy them on ebay with the wires for 15 bucks. They are just common NEMA 17 stepper motors.

Just watch the the depth as some of them do vary.

I just need the cable. Simple. Easy peezy. I'm not changing an entire motor out.

Unless someone here can supply one or you buy it from XYZ you will not get one that has the correct connectors except on the motor side nor will it be the right length. So if you look for and after market you may need to do some splicing to get the connector on the controller side. For that price, the one I listed comes with the wire and they are are removable like the ones the machine has now. So there you have the motor connector you and a spare motor when one does go bad and they will I can assure you.  All for 15 bucks.

So my endstop cable is shot as well.  Just tested it.  Also in the process of pulling that out I snapped the connector off my endstop.  Anyone got a spare endstop and cable laying around too?
