Topic: press bearings

The press have no metal bearings/ no bearings at all  as every other printer have ?
What did the designer think when he did this?

But will it be possible to add this linear bearings etc ?
This will not last long whitout  realy disappointed

It has been researched and there is even a thread here on it. There is no proven gain or loss between bearings or bushings. They have many arguments like noise and reduced friction, but the level of gain going form bushings to a bearings in a 3D printer is not even measurable. As long as the bushings fit in their housings firmly they will work just as well as bearings.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

well now we dont even have bushing or what that is   just plastic to metal and that will wear down
