Topic: Return seems like its never going to happen...

Is anyone else trying to return their press and having very little success receiving an RMA for a return/refund? I know that their swamped with other various inquiries, im wondering if any of you have received an RMA for a return. Im so frustrated with this printer, if i fix something, another problem arises.

Check your status online: http://support.solidoodle.com/hc/en-us/requests

My request was "solved" without any response from them.

This is quickly becoming a PR problem for them.

Where did everyone who bought the press hear about it?  I think it's probably in public interest to notify wherever we about it from the problems we are all having, to at least correct peoples expectations about getting a printer that will print ABS and PLA and work out of the box without many hours of fixing.  As well as helping other consumers out, this should help alleviate the current pressures on the solidoodle support staff.

I heard about it on http://www.3ders.org/, but having trouble putting comments against the articles.

Mine has the y-homing issue and, even after I tightened the screw, I have a skipping extruder. I've wasted most of the initial filament and I have nothing interesting to show for it.

Requested return on 2/15; ticket #12712; got an answer 2/18 which was "where would you like the return label sent?"

Sad to return it, had high hopes, but really can't fault them on response timeframe.

I heard about it on /r/3dprinting - at the time, it was their "if you just want a working printer" option, and I wasn't yet burnt out from my broken EZ3D. smile

Not sure where to go next other than one of the ~$2k machines, tbh.
