Topic: heater disassembly

Hi all, im trying to take apart the heater so i can install a new thermistor, but I am having trouble taking it apart. I dont want to break anything so im not forcing anything. The top threaded part on the heater block, at the top of the picture, can that be removed, or is it part of the heater block? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes that un-screws from the head assembly.

You have to take it off to remove the screw that holds the thermistor.

I had to use a pliers and a wrench to loosen it, it was not that tight.

Normal threads, right tight, left loosen.

I just changed the heater and thermistor in mine this morning, had a intermittent heater, problem solved.
