Topic: abs slurry question
is ABS slurry just a thin layer of ABS once you apply it to your bed and let it dry?
Is the acetone gone?
Otherwise sounds dangerous having acetone on a heated bed.

Acetone evaporates very quickly and totally. It's best to add the slurry to cool bed and not take the chance. Some of the ABS may retain a tiny smell for a short time but it is residual and will go away when the piece is fully "set". I have lots of experience with ABS in the pipe form.
Thanks. So in the end the point is printing on ABS which itself is very well bond to the bed already?
