Topic: Repetier computer hangs with other events

Has anyone run into issues running Repetier with Windows 7 events?

My computer started hanging using Repetier during prints.  Event Viewer showed that it was related to events occuring with the Web Proxy.  Disabling the proxy in Services worked... for a while.

A week later, the same issue started occuring, this time it was an issue with the cdrom device.  Disabling the cdrom also worked... for a while.

I never figured out what event was causing the issue after this.  During this period, Pronterface did not have any such issue.  In fact now I'm only using Repetier to create the gcode thru Slic3r, and loading the composition.gcode into Pronterface to run.

I'd like to get back to Repetier, but with all the problems I was having it was a huge waste of time.

I run Windows 7 Pro 32 for all of my prints.  I can run 2 printers at the same time without a problem.  The only time that things get dicey is when both monitors power down: when they power up, Windows hangs for about 5 seconds, and the printers stop, but pick right up again.
