Topic: RH settings to change the bed size on Workbench

Anyone know how to get RH to recognize the 12x12x12 bed? Do I just change the bed size in slic3rs printer settings? I notice that the 8x8 printer settings are 200mmx200mm but 8in = 203.2mm, why the difference? If I want to change it to 12x12 should we just use 300mmx300mm, or 304.8mm like it actually is?

A good way to test your bed size settings is to print a calibration cube of known size using the "center object" command in repetier.  Then remove the skirt (if present) and measure the distance from the edges of the cube to the front/ back and left/ right.  Adjust your bed size and bed front and bed left offsets until you get the cube landing exactly in the center.

There are several places to change the bed size. One is in the "printer settings" for RH and another is in the slicer settings. There is a video on YouTube of an initial Repetier setup for the Workbench here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU9NMDEgfwg (note these two spots at minute 3:30 & 11:02)

Thank you, just ran through your videos and I believe we have it all set up, just need to tinker around to get it perfectly centered.
