Hi

Found this searching Ebay

Item # -    271719961382

What are your guys opinions on this? Looks like an average machine for a hobbyist?? Thinking about getting a second 3d Printer but unsure what printer to get? Any recommendations?

Thanks smile

Re: DIY Printer kits

Maybe the engrish is getting in the way, but I don't really see how it's better than most other Prusa i3s which are cheaper.

Re: DIY Printer kits

I was just thinking about getting one of these as its a cheap machine but there is still quite abit of print space on it

I only seen the I3s go for around £440

Re: DIY Printer kits

It would help to know wher in the world you are from. And where you want a printer to ship from . Here in the USA I have seen I3 kits for $ 319 plus $15 shipping.  and deltas for $399 plus shipping.

but not a good deal if you have to pay $200 for overseas shipping.

Looks like a good version of the I3.  IIRC the i3 has a pretty good rep. You can get aluminum frame upgrades.
I do notice the circuit board is open so a box enclosure would be in order also if you are planning on abs a full enclosure would be a good idea.
you may also want to consider a delta/Kossel  they print faster a lot of people like them and some do not.
I think a lot of the frustration with any printer is the learning curve and the trend to make the adorable and still sturdy and reliable.

Re: DIY Printer kits

I thinks it's a bit expensive for i3 and it's in China so shipping won't be cheap. On top of that, the description is in engrish, so likely the manual will be too.

Here are alternatives:

You can print the object along the diagonal. Good taste, I bought a Geeetech 3D printer too ^_^
