Topic: How do I know when I need to recalibrate an XYZ DaVinci 1?
Do I look at that first "trace" of plastic done before the start of every print?

There's a way to do a fast check. Do home and jog the z down until you can move the head. Then move the head manually and check if the distance it's the same at 3-4 corners. I use to do a fast calibration this way if I know that the previous print was fine and I didnt had to move too much the bed to remove the previous print.

That's what I do.
If the 1st layer doesn't look "squished" or hasn't stuck properly, I adjust the bed.
I have always wondered why the bed calibration is so much different
between a cold bed and a hot bed and every temperature in-between.
Does the Di Vinci bed just warp that much?
Is that typical of most 3D printers or does bed material fix this.
There's a way to do a fast check...
Thanks for the tip!

Thanks! I hope I don't have to do it soon, since I only got the machine last Friday...
