Topic: SLA Printer Suggestions

Hey guys,

This is my first post on the forum however I've had a keen interest in the 3D printing movement for some time now. I already own two FDM printers, however I'm after better quality and looking into the SLA home printers.

Now the first one that jumps to mind is the Form1+ I'm sure, however I've found that CTC does a copy of this printer. I want to know if anyone has had any experience with it? and where you get your consumables for it? I've scoured the internet and there's only a limited amount of information on this product so I thought I'd ask here.

Now take into consideration I would more than happy to get the Form1 and support them, however being a student means money is quite restricting (the case for most of us). I use these printers a fair amount as I'm studying a modelmaking course. At the moment I have my current printer running everyday and night.

Any other suggestions for SLA or SLS 3D printers would be fantastic too.

thanks.

edit: can't get a link in here as it throws up an error - probably too new a member. Added a screenshot below however.

Re: SLA Printer Suggestions

Now that is a quirky printer. Interesting idea, could see a lot of potential for jewelry design. If it was ever so slightly larger it would be perfect for wargaming miniatures.

thanks for the input.
