Topic: solidoodle 2

Kinda of confused here. I was under the impression that the  2 was available and they were taking pre- orders just  for the 3.

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

The 2 is available... but the order lead time is 6-8 weeks the 3 is basically the same 6-8 weeks I think.....

ok thanks , like i emailed them  I am  really hesitant to shell out  that much money in advance and  hope I get what I paid for.

Shipping times have gotten better for sure.  Mine was basically 12-14 weeks and its getting better.  If your truly interested don't be turned off by the wait.  The end product is well worth it. A lot of the members here have devoted a lot of time into upgrades,  tweaks, software help, etc etc. Browse the forums looking for info,  there is much more in this site now then there was when many of us took the plunge.  The possibilities with this machine are pretty impressive considering price in comparison to other printers and kits

It is worth every penny...mine took 15ish weeks to show...longest wait of my life.
