Topic: Simplify3D Tips

For others who use S3D, wanted to point out the "Tip of the Day" postings on the S3D "General Discussions and Tips" forum (http://www.forum.simplify3d.com/viewforum.php?f=8): I've found them really helpful in demystifying some of the more involved features and settings.

And if anyone has some particularly useful Davinci-specific S3D tips or comments, please share.

Thanks for the "point out". I noticed these tips and appreciated them as well.
By the way, did you get successful with "machine control" ? Every times I try to play with the temperature, S3D kinda lose connection with my Da Vinci.

I punted and switched to Octoprint - now i can control/monitor on any device from any location. I did give up ability to "print" directly to the Davinci.

What version of FW are you running?

Running Repetier 0.92 modified to support the Davinci series ( https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92 ). Just looked at that page and it appears he's working on support for the 1.0A models.
